A few years ago, I wrote a post titled, ” When God Says No–The Death of a Dream,” July 14, 2017. You can go to my website (drbrendaramboauthor.com) and pull up that post and gain insight into when God says no for protection. I wrote it after a vacation to Mexico Beach, Florida, in May, 2017. We went with the intention of buying a beach property. We had the mortgage approved, property picked out, and we were ready to sign on the dotted line and
God said NO emphatically!
In the fall of 2018, Mexico Beach was totally destroyed by Hurricane Michael- Category 5. God’s NO was for our protection and He spared us great financial loss. Then I totally understood why God said NO!
Throughout the years, I have learned when God says NO, it is for protection, redirection, transition, and for ultimate good.
Recently in a situation dear to me, His answer was NO in three different circumstances. Our first response to the crashing blow of NO can be devastation, anger, sadness, and a host of other emotions.
In this current situation, I was quick to see the hand of God for redirection.
I don’t prefer this new arrangement, but I am delighted for God’s redirection.
When God says No, always know first and foremost He is protecting you, and secondly, He has a better plan. We can learn to experience peace in the middle of trying to understand life’s mysteries.
