And they did not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know “the time of your visitation.”
Luke 19:47
Jesus was foretelling the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, because Israel missed her time of visitation due to traditional Judaism and religion. They did not have faith to recognize their Savior.
The Pharisees and leaders of Israel were more concerned about their religion than the words of the prophets who foretold the coming of Jesus.
Jesus raised the dead, healed those who were cripple, gave sight to the blind, fed the five thousand, delivered the demonic, and his miracles were without limit. Yet, his own people rejected Him and missed the very visitation they had waited on for thousands of years.
Could we do the same thing when God visits us with revival?
Could we miss our day of visitation?
God may visit the churches with revival, but it is likely revival will hit the schools, universities, the streets, and places where people live and work. The structure of many churches probably will not let Him in the door, because the Holy Spirit will be front and center in the revival that is coming. It will probably not look like what we think.
Those who want no part of the Holy Spirit will probably miss their day of visitation.
